Wolf-Dog Honey and Lucy Lu!
This year I decided I would get more involved with rescue seeing as I was to be home all the time now. I had just began to really get started when I came across a person that told me her husband was going to take their wolf dog cross Alaskan Malamute and her one remaining puppy and turn them loose in the mountains!
I went to her home, seen the poor creature and baby and knew I couldn’t leave them there! I knew I didn’t have the resources, fencing, and experience to take care of them, but even with my ignorance of high content wolf dogs I knew I had to take them away from there on the spot!
Honey and Lucy found their forever home very quickly and I made a friend for life! They were able to stay in South Carolina and stay together. And they are close enough by that I am able to visit from time to time.
No matter how much time goes by or how many dogs come through my home Honey will always have a special place in my heart.
